Mike's Taxis began operating in 2006 and have since gained a large customer base and good local reputation due to our reliability and courteous attitude toward our passengers.
Operating from Ilfracombe we cover a large section of the North Devon area including popular destinations such as Combe Martin, Woolacombe, Morthoe, Braunton, Croyde, Barnstaple, Lynton/Lynmouth. We also cover Barnstaple bus station, Barnstaple railway station, Tiverton Parkway, Exeter airport, Bristol airport.
Having excellent knowledge of the area allows us to help you get the most out of your stay in the North Devon area. In the past we have assisted walkers by collecting/dropping off their luggage to make the trip run that bit smoother and also recommending hotels/B&Bs along the route. For day visitors we can also prepare multi-stop day trips which will enable you to visit as much of the region as possible in a short period of time. Our Vehicles
Our 2005 VW Touran 1.9 Tdi is licensed to carry up to 6 passengers. Ideal for airports/train/bus stations, it can comfortably carry 4 adults plus luggage based on 1 large suitcase and 1 item of hand luggage per person. Our 2005 Peugeot 307 1.9 Hdi estate is licensed to carry 4 passengers though with it being an estate can also carry plenty of luggage outside the passenger compartment.
